Can I visit Ranakpur on the way from Jawai to Udaipur

Yes. Ranakpur is about 1.5–2 hours from Jawai. Arrive around midday when it opens to non-Jain visitors, then continue to Udaipur in about 2.5 hours. We leave Jawai after the morning drive and breakfast, spend an hour or so at the temple, and take lunch nearby. Kumbhalgarh can be added for a longer day. Temple hours can change, so check current status before you travel.

Which airport is closer to Jawai

Udaipur and Jodhpur airports are both about 3 hours away. Most guests fly into one and out of the other, with Jawai in between. Jodhpur is about 150 km via Pali and Udaipur about 145 km through the Aravalli hills. Flying in and out of different cities avoids retracing the road. We time the drive from the airport to reach the camp for lunch and the afternoon drive.
