High altitude
Above 3,000 m, with time to adjust
Leh sits at about 3,500 m, and the passes beyond it go above 5,000 m. Flying straight into that height asks the body to adjust fast, so our routes start with 48 hours of rest and rise slowly.
We carry oxygen on high drives and plan nights at lower camps where we can. If you have heart or lung conditions, speak to your doctor before booking any route on this page.
