The Pavilions Himalayas

The Pavilions Himalayas, often called The Farm, sits in a green river valley on the outskirts of Pokhara, away from the lakefront. Villas are spread across the farm, built with local stone and timber, each with its own terrace looking over terraced fields and wooded slopes. The resort was designed with sustainability in mind, and the gardens, paddy and vegetable plots around the villas are part of its daily working life.
Most guests come to slow down. There is a spa, a pool and yoga, and the kitchen cooks with produce from the farm and nearby villages. Walks lead along the valley and up to viewpoints for the Annapurnas, and Phewa Lake and Lakeside are an easy drive for a boat trip or dinner. We use it for couples and for the wellness portion of longer journeys, often after time in Kathmandu or Dhulikhel.
Why we book it
- Private villas on a working organic farm
- Spa, pool and yoga in a quiet valley
- Farm-to-table food from the resort's own fields
Questions travellers ask
Good to know
Is The Pavilions Himalayas in Pokhara town?
No. The Pavilions Himalayas, often called The Farm, lies in the countryside on the outskirts of Pokhara rather than on Lakeside. That gives it quiet nights and farmland views. Phewa Lake, Lakeside's restaurants and the airport are a drive away, so we include a private car for boat trips, Sarangkot sunrise or the World Peace Pagoda.
Is The Pavilions Himalayas good for a honeymoon?
Yes. Private villas with terraces, a spa, a pool and farm-to-table dining make it one of the most romantic stays in Nepal. It suits couples who want rest after the city rather than a busy sightseeing programme. We often pair it with Dwarika's in Kathmandu and a riverside safari lodge in Chitwan for a nine-night honeymoon.
Can you see the mountains from The Pavilions Himalayas?
The villas look over the farm's valley rather than directly onto the high peaks, so for full Annapurna views we take guests to nearby ridges, Sarangkot or the World Peace Pagoda at sunrise. If uninterrupted mountain views from your room matter most, we suggest Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge instead, or a split stay between the two.
