Good to know
Is January a good time to visit Kerala?
The best all-round month. The coast is dry and sunny with low humidity by Kerala standards, the hills are cool and clear, and the backwaters are full after the rains. Migratory birds are at Kumarakom, and Theyyam season is in full swing in the north. It is also peak season, so the best rooms at Brunton Boatyard, Spice Village and the lake resorts go early. In Biennale years, Fort Kochi's warehouses are full of contemporary art.
