Is April a good time to visit Ladakh?

The Srinagar–Leh road usually reopens, though Zoji La can still close after snow. Many camps and seasonal hotels are still shut, and the high lakes are cold. A quiet month for the Indus valley and blossom. Prices are low, and the light is clear for photography.
