Is May a good time to visit Rajasthan?
The hottest month in much of Rajasthan, with afternoons above 40 °C and dust in the west. We only recommend it for serious wildlife travellers in Ranthambore, who accept the heat for the best tiger sightings of the year, or for short lakeside stays in Udaipur. The desert is best avoided.
