Beaches and coast in Kerala
The west coast is at its calmest from November to March. Outside those months, the monsoon brings heavy rain and rough seas, and many beach shacks close.
We choose beaches by mood: a cove for swimming, a long beach for walking, a cliff for the view. Then we pair them with something inland so the days have shape.
