Walks and treks in Goa
In Goa, walks and treks works best in Divar and Chorao islands, Dudhsagar and the Mollem forests, Panjim and Fontainhas. Village walks in the Sham valley of Ladakh, lodge-to-lodge routes in the Annapurna foothills, the root bridges of Meghalaya and tea-garden walks in Munnar. Graded honestly, with porters and good beds.
You do not need to be a mountaineer to walk in these mountains. Many routes link villages and lodges with four to six hours of walking a day, and a vehicle can meet you at the end.
